Pengaruh Latihan Passing Berpasangan terhadap Keterampilan Passing Bawah Bola Voli SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi

This study aimed to determine the effect of paired passing training on the underhand passing skills of students at SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The research employed a quantitative experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population consisted of 32 students, while the sample included 14 students selected according to the research requirements. The instrument used was an underhand passing skill assessment sheet covering initial stance, passing execution, ball direction and control, cooperation, and consistency. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing through the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that the average score of students' underhand passing skills increased from 51.7 in the pretest to 68 in the Posttest, with an average improvement of 16.3 points. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.196 for the pretest and 0.198 for the Posttest. The homogeneity test produced a significance value of 0.898, indicating homogeneous data. Furthermore, the hypothesis test using the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of (p < 0.05), meaning that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that paired passing training had a significant effect on improving the underhand passing skills of students at SMP Negeri 1 Berastagi in the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
