Pengaruh Strategi Guided Note Taking (GNT) Berbantuan Torso terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika pada Materi Termodinamika Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 2 Lawe Sigala-Gala

This study aims to analyze the influence of implementing the Guided Note Taking (GNT) strategy through the optimization of torso models on students' physics learning outcomes. Utilizing a Quasi-Experimental Design, this research involved eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala Gala during the 2025/2026 academic year as formal subjects. Data were collected through validated learning achievement test instruments and analyzed using a t-test to evaluate the significance of mean differences between groups. The results indicated a significant increase in cognitive attainment in the experimental group compared to the control group. Statistically, this finding is substantiated by a t-count of 4.02, which exceeds the t-table of 2.02 at 38 degrees of freedom (df). Based on these testing criteria, the Null Hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The synergy between cognitive scaffolding through guided notes and visual stimulation from torso models proved effective in strengthening the retention of physics concepts. This strategy successfully transformed passive learning patterns into proactive engagement, thereby substantially enhancing student academic performance in the abstract subject matter of Thermodynamics.
