Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among women worldwide, with histopathological variations and clinical staging playing a crucial role in predicting prognosis and survival outcomes. Understanding survival distributions across different histopathological types and stages is essential for strengthening early detection efforts and guiding optimal treatment strategies. This study aimed to describe the three-year and five-year survival distributions of cervical cancer patients based on histopathological type and clinical stage at Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi during the 2019–2022 period. This research employed a quantitative descriptive design with a retrospective approach, involving 126 eligible patients identified through medical record review and confirmed survival status via telephone interviews. The findings revealed that most patients were diagnosed at stage III, with epithelial cancer being the dominant histopathological type. The highest three-year survival rate among epithelial cancers occurred in stage III, whereas the highest five-year survival was observed in stage II. Among non-epithelial cancers, the highest three-year survival was found in stages II and III, with no survivors reported in stage IV. Overall, surviving patients demonstrated good functional status based on the Karnofsky Performance Scale. These findings emphasize the importance of early detection and comprehensive, stage-specific clinical management to improve cervical cancer survival outcomes.
