Water intended for human consumption must comply with the drinking water quality standards stipulated in the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010. The Karang Satria Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) has been operating since 2015; therefore, an evaluation of the treated water quality, particularly turbidity, pH, and residual chlorine, as well as the conformity of each treatment unit with the planned design criteria, is necessary. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method by collecting primary and secondary data on the performance of the DWTP and evaluating its design criteria. The results showed that the treated water quality in 2025 was evaluated based on the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010. Turbidity values ranged from 0.41 to 6.73 NTU, with the highest values recorded in February (5.47 NTU) and April (6.73 NTU), exceeding the required standard of <3 NTU. This condition was caused by filter media that did not meet the design criteria, as only a 1 m silica sand layer was used without a gravel support layer. The pH values ranged from 7.25 to 7.70, while residual chlorine levels ranged from 3.5 to 5.2 mg/L, both of which complied with the required standards. Therefore, improvements to the filtration unit at the Karang Satria DWTP are necessary to ensure that the turbidity parameter complies with the established drinking water quality standards and design criteria.
