Penerapan Supply Chain Management dalam Pengendalian Persediaan Sparepart Motor Pompa Menggunakan Metode AHP dan EOQ pada PT. Tirta Fresindo Jaya

PT. Tirta Fresindo Jaya is a beverage manufacturing company whose production process relies heavily on the reliability of pump motors. The high frequency of pump motor failures and suboptimal spare parts inventory control have led to increased inventory costs and have the potential to disrupt the smooth flow of the production process. The purpose of this study is to identify the most critical spare parts for pump motors and to determine the optimal order quantity in order to improve supply chain management efficiency in inventory control. The methods used in this study are the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The AHP method is used to determine spare part priorities based on the criteria of failure frequency, impact on production, procurement time, and cost, while the EOQ method is used to determine the economic order quantity, ordering frequency, safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost. The research results show that the mechanical seal is the highest-priority spare part with a weighting of 0.663, followed by bearings at 0.200 and carbon brushes at 0.137. The EOQ calculation for the mechanical seal yields an optimal order quantity of 13 units, an ordering frequency of 5 times per year, a safety stock of 5 units, and a reorder point of 7 units. The application of the EOQ method also reduced total inventory costs from Rp3,158,942 to Rp425,081, resulting in cost savings of 86.55%. Thus, the application of the AHP and EOQ methods helps the company determine spare part priorities and establish more effective, efficient, and economical inventory control.
