Automotive electrical learning in vocational high schools (SMKs) often faces challenges due to the abstract nature of electrical concepts and the limited availability of instructional media that facilitate student understanding. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of interactive visual simulation as a learning medium in automotive electrical learning. A descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method was employed involving 45 vocational high school students as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that 93.3% of respondents stated that interactive visual simulation significantly helped them understand automotive electrical circuits, while 77.8% reported increased learning motivation. Furthermore, 88.9% of respondents considered interactive visual simulation more effective than conventional lecture-based learning. Circuit diagram visualization was identified as the most helpful feature (53.3%), followed by electric current flow animation (26.7%). These results indicate that interactive visual simulation effectively supports conceptual understanding and enhances student motivation in automotive electrical learning. The study implies that interactive visual simulation can serve as an alternative instructional medium to improve the quality of vocational education, particularly in learning topics that require strong conceptual visualization and active student engagement.
