The application of ergonomics in the workplace is highly beneficial in facilitating human tasks, as it creates a safe and comfortable working environment. Currently, ergonomics is primarily applied in field or open areas, covering various aspects of work design. However, ergonomics in office environments has not received equal attention because workplace accident rates are relatively low. This study focuses on evaluating ergonomics in office areas, specifically within the QHSSE function at PT XYZ’s headquarters. The research employs the Ergonomic Checklist method based on International Labour Organization (ILO) guidelines, which divides ergonomics into nine aspects with 132 observation points to determine whether conditions are fulfilled or require improvement. The analysis examines the extent of ergonomics implementation in the office area, and with the aid of a Pareto Chart, priorities for improvement are identified from unmet points, enabling the development of optimal corrective strategies. The study is expected to provide insights into the current application of ergonomics in the QHSSE office function and to offer prioritized recommendations for improvement.
