Abstract

Cancer is the main cause of death in the world, in 2020 approximately 10 million deaths were recorded due to cancer. Based on estimates Globocan, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) In 2020, breast cancer ranks first in the most frequently diagnosed cancer cases with a total incidence of 2.3 million new cases and 685,000 deaths. The neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and the platelet lymphocyte ratio are inflammatory markers that are easy to measure. NLR and PLR can predict cancer development in relation to stage. The higher the NLR and PLR values, the higher the level of development and the worse the degree of cell differentiation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and the platelet lymphocyte ratio with the stage of breast cancer in RSUD DR.The research is analytical research with design cross-sectional against 64 respondents. Samples were taken by technique total sampling. Data were collected using secondary data from medical records and analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results of the study showed that the value of data on the ratio of neutrophil lymphocytes to the stage of breast cancer was p=0.003, data on the ratio of platelet lymphocytes to the stage of breast cancer was found to be p=0.002. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and the platelet lymphocyte ratio with the stage of breast cancer.
